1940’s Radio Christmas Carol

A 1940s RADIO CHRISTMAS CAROL is the story of a troupe of radio players presenting the Dickens classic as WW2 affects the lives of everyone. The last minute chaos, the live commercials, the MUSICAL NUMBERS…it’s all part of The Golden Age of Radio!

But this is NOT A RADIO PLAY. This is TWO’s holiday show at THE EMPRESS THEATER. Opening Dec. 9 at 7:30, this fascinating look at days gone by will play two weekends through Sunday, Dec. 18 at 2:00 pm. Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30, with two Sunday matinees at 2:00.

Sponsored by SOUTHERN STAR and our 2022-2023 Season sponsor, OWENSBORO HEALTH, we expect sell-out performances, so get your tickets soon! Tickets are $18.00 for adults, $12.00 student. There will be a $2.00 surcharge on all tickets purchased at the door.
