Celebrating our 61st Season

This year, Theatre Workshop of Owensboro celebrates its 61st season as an arts organization in Owensboro. On December 1, 1955, we presented our first production, “The Man Who Came to Dinner.”

Our 61st season will also serve as my 47th with the group. There’s been lots of progress during that time. We’ve significantly extended our programming, expanded our footprint with the purchase and renovation of a second historic building, and continued to enrich the lives of those who participate in our programs.

We have taken arts education into the county schools and used theater’s practical applications in business training. And of course, we were still here for you, dear audience members, presenting a wide variety of drama, comedy, mysteries, musicals, and classical theater… A little something for every taste. Thank you for joining us!
