Well…

That’s the title of our season opener, to be presented Sept. 1-11. WELL is a comedy by Lisa Kron, directed by Wes Bartlett and Mary-Katherine Maddox. It’s about a young woman and her mother. AUDITIONS for the play will be Saturday, July 16 at 6:00 pm, and Sunday the 17th at 2:00 pm. AUDITIONS will be at TWO’s EMPRESS THEATER, on Frederica.

The show requires 6 actors, two of these are Mother (age 50-70) and Daughter (age 30-50). They have a majority of the dialogue in the 80 minute show. The other four actors will play multiple roles (3-5 parts) of various ages and personality types. Two males (one white and one black ages 21-50), and two females (one white and one black, ages 21-50) will be needed.

Please be prepared to read from the script and perform a few impromptu exercises. PDF copies of the script may be obtained by contacting the TWO office during the hours of 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Rehearsals will begin limited to 3 per week for the first 3-4 weeks, kicking into 4 times per week as we approach tech week.
