Auditions for Boeing Boeing will take place on Monday, February 24th and Tuesday, February 25th at 6pm at The Empress Theatre. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
A Note from the Directors, Jeremy Brailsford and Jason McGuffin: This farcical play takes place in the 1960s, and centers on lothario Bernard, who has a flat in Paris and three airline stewardesses all engaged to him without knowing about each other. Bernard’s life gets bumpy, though, when his friend Robert comes to stay, and complications such as weather and a new, speedier Boeing jet disrupt his careful planning. Soon, all three stewardesses are in the city simultaneously and catastrophe looms. We are so excited to bring this wacky show to life. This is a physically demanding show (especially for Robert) accents are a must, this is also a very intimate show.
Bernard: 30s a ladies man with 3 fiancés
Robert: 30s a nerdy friend from America
Berthe: 50s French deadpan maid
Gloria: 20s American feisty flight attendant
Gabriella: 20s Italian fiery flight attendant
Gretchen: 20s German frisky flight attendant
