⭐️AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT⭐️
Theatre Workshop of Owensboro will be holding auditions for our upcoming production of “The Producers,” written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, with music and lyrics by Mel Brooks. “The Producers” is a musical about a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant who, together, come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious FLOP in history, thereby milking their backers out of millions of dollars. The show, however, ends up being a SMASH HIT!

Auditions will take place at The Empress! Those participating in auditions only need to attend one date, unless callbacks are deemed necessary.
Sunday, July 6th at 2:00 pm
Monday, July 7th at 6:00 pm
Callbacks, if necessary, on Tuesday the 8th. (by request only)

Auditions will consist of singing, a dance call, and cold reads. Individuals participating in auditions will be asked to prepare one of the song selections from the show chosen by our music director, which will be posted on our social media pages.

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you can move in for the dance call. Audition sides will be provided at the audition, so no preparation is needed for the acting portion.
