✨INTRODUCING OUR NEW EDUCATION COORDINATOR: Kayla Kelley!✨

The Theatre bug bit Kayla at a very young age. She seized every opportunity she could to perform, including performing in Missoula Children’s Theatre shows and youth shows with Theatre Workshop of Owensboro. As an adult, Kayla was very passionate about growing her local community Theatre and was a board member of CAST (Community Actors of Southeast Texas) in Bay City, TX. After moving back to Owensboro, Kayla jumped at the chance to work with any and all local theatre groups. In 2022, she earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Theatre at Western Kentucky University. It was at Western that Kayla found a love of directing, solo performances, and grew her desire to teach theatre to all ages.

“I love that TWO has cultivated such a wonderful youth outreach program. It will be my goal to see it grow and continue to thrive. Arts in general is such an important part of education and I am very excited to share my knowledge and experience to the younger generations. Working with kids has always felt like second nature to me. I want to be a safe place for everyone and create a work environment that is fun, safe, and free to express creativity. I can’t wait to be apart of the amazing team at TWO and help grow the future Thespians of Daviess County!!”
