Theatre Workshop of Owensboro, Inc. Harassment Policy

Theatre Workshop of Owensboro (“TWO”) does not tolerate any form of harassment or discrimination by its employees, volunteers, or patrons. This includes sexual harassment, as well as harassment and discrimination based upon religion, national origin, culture, race, color, age, sex, pregnancy, disability, military status, or other differences.

There will be no retaliation against an individual who has complained about or reported alleged forbidden harassment or who has cooperated with any investigation of alleged forbidden harassment, regardless of the outcome of the investigation.

Harassment Defined

“Quid Pro Quo” Sexual Harassment – unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when (i) submission to such conduct is an explicit or implicit condition of employment or performance opportunity, or (ii) submission to rejection of such conduct is used as the basis for employment or performance opportunity.

Hostile Work Environment Harassment – conduct that is unwelcome and offensive, that unreasonably interferes with an individual’s work, performance, or ability to learn, or that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work, performance, or learning environment, that is sexual in nature, or that is based on race, age, religion, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or other characteristics prohibited by law.

Responsibilities

TWO will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the actions of its employees, staff, and volunteers are free from forbidden harassment. When it is notified of forbidden harassment, TWO will, at its sole and exclusive discretion, take appropriate corrective action.

Theatre Workshop of Owensboro, Inc. Tobacco Policy

Theatre Workshop of Owensboro cares about the health and well-being of its patrons, volunteers, and employees.

To that end, Theatre Workshop of Owensboro prohibits the use of tobacco or any tobacco-related products, including the use of smokeless tobacco or electronic smoking devices, on any Theatre Workshop of Owensboro property at any time.

This policy applies to all employees, patrons, contractors, volunteers, and visitors.

Copies of this policy shall be distributed to all employees. Copies of this policy shall be made conspicuous and visible to all volunteers, contractors, and visitors who enter upon property owned by Theatre Workshop of Owensboro.
