Summer Shorts submissions are NOW OPEN! Playwrights anywhere and everywhere are invited to submit their original works for consideration. ORIGINAL ONE-ACT PLAY SCRIPTS will be accepted now through March 3.

Submit up to two scripts in PDF format to twosummershorts407@gmail.com with a subject line of SUMMER SHORTS SCRIPTS. A submission fee of $20 is required for each script submission (2 script max). If submitting more than one script, please include both scripts in separate PDFs with a separate cover sheet. Do not include your name on the manuscript. Please use a separate cover sheet for name/contact information. (This is so all scripts can be evaluated anonymously.) Scripts must be written in standard play script format, have a 20 pages maximum, with no more than 5 characters, for a duration of 10-12 minutes each. Scripts must have NEVER BEEN PRODUCED. AI generated material will not be accepted.

Six to eight plays will be selected for presentation at our annual Summer Shorts Play Festival, where audience members will vote on their favorite to win a cash prize!
