TWO’s Education Coordinator, and Director, Calli Whitmore will hold auditions for the upcoming fall youth production of Miss Nelson is Missing! September 9th and 10th from 2 to 4 p.m. at TWO’s Empress Theatre. No preparation or previous theatre experience is required. cold readings of the script will be provided at auditions. Youth actors aged 7-17 are encouraged to audition.
Play Synopsis: Miss Nelson can’t control her crazy classroom because she’s just too nice. But when she disappears, her replacement is the hard-as-nails, detention-loving, recess-canceling, homework-overloading substitute teacher Viola Swamp! With the Big Test approaching, the kids suddenly realize how much they miss Miss Nelson and they’ll do anything – including hiring a private eye – to solve the mystery of her disappearance and bring her back. This production is by Jeffrey Hatcher, and adapted from the book by Harry Allard and James Marshall.

Attendance Requirements
Attendance is mandatory during Tech Week, the week before the show performances, Sunday, September 29th to Thursday, October 2nd. There will NOT be rehearsal on Tuesday, October 31st in celebration of Halloween. Any other noted conflicts on the Audition Form will be excused.
