Youth Camps

Theatre Workshop of Owensboro offers exciting week-long camps where kids can immerse themselves in the world of performing arts. These camps provide a fun and creative space for young participants to explore acting, improvisation, and stagecraft while building confidence and making new friends.

All TWO Drama Camps are held at the Trinity Center. Comfortable clothing is recommended.

Ages 7-11

Drama Camp I is a beginner camp designed for those who are new to the theatre. Participants will engage in a range of theatrical activities and games while learning about the necessities of the theatre. This camp will touch on the fundamentals of acting, costuming, make-up, technical theatre, and performance. No previous theatre experience is required. Drama Camp I is held at the Trinity Center, cost is $100 per student.

Ages 12-15

Drama Camp II is an intermediate camp that explores in-depth acting techniques, and character development, with a focus on technical theatre. Monologue and scene work will be explored. This camp is recommended for those who have already completed Drama Camp I or have been involved with a TWO production. Drama Camp II is held at the Trinity Center, cost is $100 per student.

Ages 14-17

Drama Camp III is a musical theatre-inspired camp that focuses on how to create a musical theatre production. There will be a heavy focus on acting, singing, and choreography. This camp is recommended for those who have completed both Drama Camp I and Drama Camp II or have previously been involved with a TWO musical theatre production. Drama Camp III is held at the Trinity Center, cost is $100 per student.
